  1. @Tom, I’ll take a look at conflict between my plugin and simple facebook connect. Thanks for the information.

@Eric, I have the fix for your issue ready. You should get the update in a day or two.

@Peter, Is something wrong with your website right now? The theme is not loading properly. Let me know once you fix it, I’ll take a look at the conflict issue. The slideshow only shows photos loaded on the current page. I’m working on a better slideshow solution, till then you’ll have to make do with current one.

@Shiela, I couldn’t find the page URL where you are using the plugin on your website. Have you removed it? Regarding photosets, it is possible to create separate galleries using separate photosets, but only one photoset per gallery.

@Soner, you’ll have to modify the code to do that for you. You can do that using plugin editor.

@Coral, sorry. Right now such an option is not supported. Photos are displayed only in most recent order.

  2. Love this plugin! One question though. Is there a way to get this to show random photos instead of just the first bunch?

  3. I notice it generates a border around the image to create the space between. How can I either change the size or remove that? Thanks!

    Soner Acar:

I am back with another question. If you look under the portfolio you will see I got the first column to align right next to the other one but the other two columns I cant get to move.
How can I have all columns touching?

  5. Hey there,

After seeing the demo, I know this is the plugin I want to use for a website I’m working on. It’s installed and it shows up on the page, but I can’t seem to get a slideshow going. When I click on a photo, a new page opens up with the photo in the upper right corner. How can I get photos to show up in a lightbox slideshow on the same page? http://kerieboshka.com/?page_id=121. I have Lightbox 2 installed.

Also – is it possible to add separate photosets? Thanks!

  6. I love love love this plugin- it is exactly what I was looking for. There are two glitches I’ve found; when you have more than page of images, the slideshow will only play that one page.

    For an example:
    http://www.snapoftheshutter.com/portfolio/portraits/anna/

If you click on one of the images, you will see there are only 10 images in the slideshow, rather than the 22 in the gallery. This isn’t a big deal, but it would be nice to have fixed.

I’ve also found it is incompatible with the Accordion Image Menu, which is rather annoying since it is the homepage for my website.

Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

@Adam, looks like your theme or some plugin is adding extra line breaks in the HTML code that is generated by my plugin. Check if your theme or any other plugin has such an option.

I’m having the same issue as Adam, just broken HTML getting spit out. It does indeed appear that line breaks are being inserted all over the place in the generated output from the flickr plugin. Here is a snippet of a table:

    <table align='center'
    style=”background-color:Transparent; border-color:Transparent;”
    width=’100%’>

I’m not sure where to go to prevent this. Do I need to modify something in the theme php files? I don’t see any settings for this in the dashboard, etc.

    Thanks!

  8. it actually is a conflict with the plugin “simple facebook connect” which i dont really see how or why, but if u manage to find the time to come up with a fix, that would be greatly appreciated.

  9. hi there, great plugin u wrote there. i just got a slight issue since the 2.5.0 release. the page i included your gallerie in is simply not loading at all anymore. I just get a blank page, not even the theme design or anything else is loading.

    any suggestions ?
gallery page is here : http://mabucom.ch/?page_id=199

  10. @Soner, thanks for your kind words and donation. Regarding the conflict with slider, I’m working on it right now. I haven’t found the exact problem yet, but I’ll release the fix as soon as possible.

  11. This is an amazing, powerful, and the best flickr gallery I have seen yet and I have been trying researching this for the last day. So before I post an issue, GREAT JOB!! As far as my issues goes, I have the same problem as some other are having using v2.5.0. I have a rotating banner on my first main page that now doesn’t rotate with your plugin active. Other than that everything works like a charm. Either way enjoy a cold beer!

  12. @Dace, why would you want to do that? If you integrate into a template, it will be visible on all your posts and pages. Anyways, if you modify your template to include the shortcode in body of the page, it will generate the gallery.

  13. I’ll get back to you once I figure out the issue. I haven’t seen such a behavior anywhere else, so must be some issue with either the theme of some plugin.

  14. @Adam, looks like your theme or some plugin is adding extra line breaks in the HTML code that is generated by my plugin. Check if your theme or any other plugin has such an option.

  15. I am having trouble getting the plugin to work. I have installed it and added both the API key and my user ID.

Then when I add the code to my page I get a load of code instead of the gallery. Can anyone help solve this problem?

  16. Ronak,
discover the error. In my case it was in the index.php in the following command: (echo ” “;) How was using other plugins of wordpress, it must have been some incompatibility. Anyway thank you for your attention.

    Ronak Gandhi:

@Mário Lúcio, looks like one of your slideshow plugins (probably the jquery-colorbox) is also using colorbox. So there is a conflict between the two. I need to figure out a way to fix it. This can take some time and is too late for next release which is planned to go out this week. I’ll keep you posted on this one.

  17. Hello, great plug-in! The only issue I am having right now is the lightbox is not working. I do not have any other plug-ins running that use lightbox so by default it should use the included lightbox, correct? Let me know if there are some additional steps that I need to take to get the lightbox working.

    Thanks!

  19. Ronak,
The url is http://www.jomoraes.com.br / newsite. I’m using the new version does. Actually I disabled the plugin not to lock the slideshow of the news site. When I enable the javascript of the reports does not work.

    Ronak Gandhi:

Can you send me the page URL where you are using the plugin? Also, which version of the plugin are you using? Latest version is 1.3.0.
